In the fall of 2025 the Mexican artist Corina del Carmel, who’s also sailed onboard in the Pacific and participated in the ship’s rebuild painted the Heraclitus eyes again, as many years earlier in California. The Ancient Greek ships were also adorned with eyes on their bows….as are the Asian junks after which the Heraclitus is modelled.
