Keeping the Voyage Going…

In March 2026, former and future crew convened alongside directors of Ecotechnics Maritime (EM) to chart the Heraclitus rebuild as a work in progress. Across several working sessions we revisited the build timeline, tested budgets, and pored over designs for outfitting and rigging the vessel. Drawing on the hard-won experience of those who have sailed and stood watch aboard her, the group worked through realistic scenarios for completing the rebuild and getting her back under sail soon. Old hands and new shipmates pulling together, sharpening a shared course to launch Heraclitus on her next voyages of training and research.
